Minister of Home Affairs, Kishan Reddy met Indian Film Industry representatives on Saturday and he told them that the Government is looking into the problems of Film and Television workers, pretty seriously.
He also told them that the permission to shoot at different places will be granted soon but before that the government will have to look into the situation in every state. He gave them a solid word that the Film Industries in the country, will be operative soon.
Later, he asked them to come to Delhi with their suggestions on regional GST and piracy issues. He reassured them that the theatres all over India will open on the same day and same time.
The decision regarding opening the theatres will come at right time before that the Government will make sure that the Covid-19 scare is under control for sure. Until then, the government will help them in all possible ways concluded the minister.
